John F. Kennedy Catholic High School provides a college preparatory curriculum. The curriculum includes development of Catholic values and attitudes as well as the attainment of knowledge and skills necessary for the student's spiritual, moral, intellectual, social and physical development.

Minimum 2008-2009 Graduation Requirements - Over the course of four years, students should accrue the following number of credits in given disciplines: Religion 4 English 4 Social Studies 3 (Must include American Studies and American Government) Mathematics 4 Science 3 (Must Include Biology) Health/Physical Education 1 Electives 8 TOTAL Minimum of 27 Units of Credits.

Academic Letter Policy - Students who completed two or more honors classes (each year) and earned a 3.75 or above cumulative grade point average (GPA) will receive their letter at a recognition ceremony in the fall. Students receive letters, pins, certificates and a reception in their honor. This letter is identical to the one given to students who letter in a sport but will bear the lamp of knowledge pin. (Students who repeat the academic accomplishment receive a bronze, silver and gold bar accordingly to place on their letter.)
