WELCOME TO JOHN F. KENNEDY CATHOLIC SCHOOL
Students who desire an educational experience founded on the Catholic philosophy of education who fulfill the age, health, academic and behavioral requirements are eligible for admission to John F. Kennedy Catholic School. Any student who is interested in enrolling as an incoming sixth through eleventh grade student must complete the following application.
School Philosophy
John F. Kennedy Catholic School is a Catholic Diocesan school owned and operated by the Diocese of Youngstown under the spiritual and educational leadership of the Bishop of Youngstown. To be a part of John F. Kennedy Catholic School is to be a part of a faith community that approaches each day with a shared vision of what life can and should be. The personnel of John F. Kennedy Catholic School are individuals who are concerned with making personal and professional contributions to young people in order that their horizons be broadened as whole persons for their benefit and that of others, with a goal of forming Christian young men and women:

3. Short Answer Questions
Short Answer Questions - To be handwritten by student applicant, on a separate sheet of paper.
Write a short paragraph about why you would like to attend John F. Kennedy Catholic School.
Name two of your favorite books and tell why you liked them.
Name at least one person you admire and explain why.
Describe your involvement in volunteer work and community service.
List any sports, hobbies, musical or artistic interests you enjoy and participate in.
Write a paragraph about your goals for the future. What are your goals and how do you hope to achieve them? What qualities do you possess or hope to develop that will help you to reach your goals?
