Why did your family choose Kennedy for your education?
My family was a strong believer in Catholic education. They believed that JFK was the best choice for education, discipline, and developing our Faith.

What is your favorite Kennedy memory?
There are so many! Our athletic programs being able to sustain competitiveness year in and year out. The academic success of our students that make alumni proud to be from JFK, and the many people I have made friends with over the years.

Did you have a teacher or class that was a major influence on you?
I would say Mr. Gillen and Mr. Camarata who took a group of students to The Tidwell murder trial; that piqued my interest in criminal justice.

Education/Professional Experience:
I attended Youngstown State University to study Criminal Justice. I worked for the Trumbull County Juvenile Center and Child Support Enforcement for nearly 32 years and currently serve as the Athletic Director for John F. Kennedy Catholic School.

What career did you choose and tell us a little bit about how you got there.
I was fortunate enough to work at the Trumbull County Juvenile Center and then transferred to Child Support to serve all of the papers from the Prosecutor's Office and Domestic Court. Both positions needed a criminal justice background and it all evolved because of that field trip with Mr.Camarata.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Being able to still be a part of Kennedy after all of these years; becoming an assistant to Mr. John Gillen and then Jeff Bayuk, and then being named Athletic Director by Mr. Joe Kenneally and Mrs. Alyse Consiglio.

What is a specific piece of advice you would give to a Kennedy senior?
Always remember where you came from. Be proud of being a graduate of Kennedy. Remember the sacrifices that it took from your family to get you here and the generosity of alumni and friends of JFK to make us what we are today.
