Office of the President

Mr. William Pituch
MA, BA

Kennedy Family,

This May, we celebrated our 60th graduating class and took a moment to reflect on the vibrant history of John F. Kennedy Catholic School. Our academic achievements, athletic success, and service to our community is unparalleled. We are a school that has grown and evolved over time; generations of educators, students and families who have all committed to a mission of excellence.

Now, we begin a new chapter in our history. Together with the Diocese of Youngstown, we share that Mr. William Pituch will join the Kennedy Family as President on July 1, 2024. Mr. Pituch most recently served as the Vice President of Academics and Student Affairs at Erie Catholic Preparatory School/Villa Maria Cathedral Preparatory School System. In that capacity, he oversaw the design and construction of a $22.5 million school expansion and renovation, implemented fundraising efforts, and worked in tandem with faculty, staff and administration for a seamless merger between two campuses.  He earned a Master of Arts Degree in History from Kansas State University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History/Citizenship/Education from Gannon University. Mr. Pituch says of his appointment, “I feel blessed beyond measure to be joining the Diocese of Youngstown and the family of John F. Kennedy to forward the mission of the school.  From what I have learned of the community, it is proud and steeped in Gospel values that does an excellent job of forming students spiritually, academically, socially, and  emotionally.  I am very much looking forward to getting to the work of the school.” Will and his wife have two children and are active members of Our Lady of Peace Parish in Erie, PA.

Together, Kennedy will take the next steps into a bright future, firmly rooted in the lessons and successes of our past. We are Kennedy, We are Family.
